This policy is in effect for all head coaches and assistant coaches of the “Fuzion Volleyball Club”, herein after referred to as the Club.
Coaches will receive reimbursement for expenses incurred as a result of their duties on behalf of the Club. Reimbursements will only be for the following: gas, food and lodging expenses. See SCHEDULE A – COACHES HONORARIUM-REIMBURSEMENT RATES for current rates.
The Club will cover the course costs for coaches working towards NCCP certification, including the Technical Courses and Multi-Sport courses.
The Club will not cover any food, travel or lodging costs associated with NCCP certification courses, unless approved by the Technical Director, Club Director and the Club Executive.
Head Coaches will receive an honorarium at the close of each season, if the club is in the financial position to do so, based on their NCCP certification level as well as the stream they are coaching. The club registration fee in each stream and a Level 2 certification will be used as the baseline for calculations. Head Coaches will receive no more or no less than 50% of the registration fee. Head Coaches will only receive payment at the level for which they are fully certified. Head Coaches with no certification as well as Assistant Coaches will not receive an honorarium as part of this policy.
Any approved honorarium will only be distributed once the Head Coaches returns all club-issued equipment at the conclusion of the season. We will have two return days per season and it is the coach’s responsibility to return their equipment on one of those days, unless other arrangements have been made with the Club Clothing/Equipment Manager.
