Regional Elite Program
With the VNB announcement that the provincial elite program is cancelled for a second summer in a row, Fuzion has been offered the opportunity to administer a VNB regional summer program for elite athletes. This program will be offered to elite athletes from all clubs located in health zone 1.
The purpose of the elite program is to provide high quality training for the elite athletes. This program will be offered to elite athletes born in 2005 and 2006. Details for a similar program for athletes born in 2007 will be communicated within the next ten days.
Details of the program for the 2005 and 2006 born athletes are as follows:
- Number of participants – a maximum of 20 athletes
- Tryouts
- Scheduled for Tuesday, June 22nd from 6h00 – 8h00. Only athletes who meet the VNB matrix will be selected to participate in the program (up to a maximum of 20)

- Tryout fees – $20.00
- Program details
- dates – Saturday, June 26th, Saturday, July 10th, Thursday evenings beginning July 15th through to September 2nd (total of 25 hours of on-court training)
- Fees: $300.00
- Athletes selected to the program will be asked to send an etransfer for their registration fees to etransferfuzionclinics@gmail.com.
- Training location – Moncton coliseum
- It is recommended that the participating athletes follow a strength and conditioning program. There are many different options in the region however if your athlete is not currently registered to a program and wishes to participate in one that is volleyball specific, please visit http://volleyplus.ca.
